Do you support customization with customer artwork & physical samples?

Yes, we fully support this service. You may provide design drafts, sketches, photos or physical samples. Our professional design team will accurately restore your design or offer optimization advice. Logos, texts, embossed patterns and complex creative graphics can all be completed through digital drawing and precision engraving.

What metal materials are available for selection? How to choose?

We supply a variety of base materials that can be flexibly matched according to your budget, usage scenarios and texture requirements:

  • Pure Copper: Soft texture with vivid 3D embossing effect, ideal for high-end badges and medals.
  • Iron: High cost performance with bright baked paint colors, suitable for bulk orders.
  • Zinc Alloy / Lead-Tin Alloy: Able to create intricate three-dimensional shapes with delicate die casting.

What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

We flexibly accept orders of all sizes:

  • Standard MOQ: 100 pieces for stamped & baked paint products; 200 pieces for die-cast & imitation cloisonné products.
  • Small-batch trial: Sample orders of less than 50 pieces are available to help you verify market performance.
  • Mass production: No maximum quantity limit. Larger orders enjoy better discounts. Welcome to negotiate.

How long are the sampling lead time and mass production lead time?

We achieve full in-house production across all procedures, enabling efficient and controllable production schedules:

  • Sampling Lead Time: Mold engraving plus sample fabrication takes about 7 to 12 working days, depending on design complexity.
  • Mass Production: After sample confirmation, bulk production requires roughly 10 to 20 working days, determined by order quantity and craftsmanship complexity.
  • Rush Service: Expedited orders are negotiable for urgent demands. Samples can be delivered in as fast as 5 working days.

We will track the whole progress and update you regularly.
What options are available for electroplating and coloring?

We offer a wide range of surface finishing solutions:

  • Electroplating Colors: Gold plating, silver plating, chrome plating, copper plating, brass plating, antique bronze, antique nickel, black plating, etc.

How to get a quotation? What information needs to be provided?

To receive an accurate quotation promptly, please provide the following details:

  • Design artwork (or clear description of patterns, texts and dimensions).
  • Product type (badges, medals, keychains, etc.).
  • Preferred material (copper, iron, zinc alloy, etc.).
  • Craft requirements (stamping, baked paint, imitation cloisonné, electroplating colors, etc.).

Can revisions be made after production is finished?

Please double-check all details carefully before sample confirmation. Once mold engraving and sampling are completed, revisions require mold remaking, which leads to extra costs and longer lead time. Therefore, we highly recommend confirming all details including artwork, size, material and craftsmanship before sampling. If modifications are necessary, please inform us as early as possible; we will assess feasibility and quote related costs.
Are electroplated colors prone to fading?

With proper daily use and maintenance, our electroplated finishes retain stable color for 1 to 2 years. Premium electroplating options such as gold plating and chrome plating last even longer. Service life depends on usage conditions, including direct sunlight, humidity, sweat, chemical agents and other factors. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh environments, and wipe regularly with a soft cloth for maintenance.
Can the shipping address be revised?

Address changes are allowed only before shipment. If you entered an incorrect address, send the updated shipping address plus your order number to jhkjjlu@gmail.com while production is still in progress and goods have not been dispatched, and we will revise the information. No address adjustment can be made after shipment, so please notify us well in advance.
What is screen printing?

Screen printing, also known as stencil printing, transfers ink onto substrates through mesh openings via scraping. For custom metal badges, this process works best for designs with few solid distinct color blocks. A separate screen plate is made for each color, delivering bright hues with strong adhesion. Pantone color matching is supported, ideal for simple logos and lettering.

Compared with offset printing, screen printing creates thicker ink layers and more vivid colors, yet it cannot reproduce gradients or photographic fine details.
What is offset printing (4-color printing)?

Offset printing, also called CMYK four-color printing, reproduces full-color graphics by overlapping tiny dots of cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink. It fits designs with color gradients, photographs and intricate details. After printing on metal sheets, products are die-cut into final shapes. For designs requiring metal borders, we add an extra white base layer to define the printing area.

Offset printing is perfect for colorful commemorative coins, medals and similar items. However, it cannot precisely match Pantone shades; colors are simulated via the CMYK color system.
What are the differences between screen printing and offset printing?
  • Color system: Screen printing uses Pantone spot color codes for accurate colors; offset printing adopts CMYK four colors, suitable for color gradients.
  • Application range: Screen printing works for color blocks, texts and simple graphics; offset printing fits photos, illustrations and complex gradients.
  • Ink layer thickness: Screen printing has thick ink layers with three-dimensional feeling; offset printing features thin, delicate and smooth ink layers.
  • Cost: The plate fee of screen printing is calculated by color quantity; offset printing has fixed plate fees (4-color or 5-color). Offset printing is more cost-effective for multi-color designs.

What are the differences between imitation cloisonné, soft enamel and hard enamel?
  • Hard enamel: Sintered with glass powder at high temperature. It is as hard as ceramic tiles, features retro hues and keeps from fading for hundreds of years, yet with complicated processes and high costs.
  • Imitation cloisonné (synthetic enamel): Filled with resin materials, cured at high temperature then polished. It has smooth, glossy surfaces and bright colors flush with metal borders, becoming the mainstream choice for high-end customization.
  • Soft enamel: Liquid pigment is injected into grooves and dried at low temperature. The color sinks slightly below the metal surface with a relatively rough texture, mostly applied to mid-to-low-end products at low cost.

We focus on imitation cloisonné craftsmanship, balancing texture and cost performance.
Can embossed iron products adopt imitation cloisonné?

It is technically achievable but not recommended. Iron boasts high hardness with limited stamping depth, while imitation cloisonné requires deep grooves to hold pigment for polishing. Water washing is required in polishing, which easily causes iron rust and ruins finished quality. Therefore, imitation cloisonné is normally matched with copper, zinc alloy and other materials to guarantee visual effect and durability.
What design file formats do you accept?

Vector files are preferred:

  • Vector files: AI, CDR, EPS, PDF (editable layers are recommended).
  • Bitmap files: JPG, PNG, PSD (Resolution ≥ 300 dpi, saved in CMYK color mode).

Please confirm your files are original or you hold legal usage authorization. If you only have hand-drawn sketches, we can help complete the artwork.
Why are certain materials such as stainless steel unavailable for stamping or electroplating?
  • Stamping: Hard materials including stainless steel and iron tend to damage molds during stamping, with high defect rates and frequent deformation of finished goods. Thus we normally recommend materials with better ductility such as copper and zinc alloy.
  • Electroplating: Our electroplating production line is tailored for brass, red copper, iron and zinc alloy. The passive film on stainless steel prevents firm adhesion of electroplating layers, leading to unstable plating results. Therefore, electroplating is not offered for stainless steel.
What is a Pantone color number? How to look it up?

Pantone Matching System (PMS) is an internationally recognized color standard for precise color definition. You may find the codes in the following ways:

  • Check online via the official website: www.pantone.com.
  • Search the color library in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
  • If you cannot confirm the Pantone code, send us your design file, and we will match the Pantone number free of charge.
What payment methods do you accept?

A deposit (generally 50%) shall be paid after sample confirmation, and the full balance must be settled before shipment. Payment terms can be negotiated for bulk orders.
Can I receive samples first before mass production?

Absolutely. We highly recommend pre-production sampling. You need to cover sample cost and mold cost upfront. After you confirm samples and place bulk orders, the full sample fee will be deducted from the total bulk payment. Refund or apportionment of mold fees is negotiable based on follow-up order volume.

This ensures finished goods meet your expectations and avoids risks after mass production.
